![2011.02-23-27 Cuernavaca, MexicoIn the city of Cuernavaca, Mexico, there stands historic cathedrals, museums full of ancient Aztec artifacts, and and few hours drive to Aztec and Mayan ruins located in the lush green valleys and mountains. We arrived in Cuernavaca for the Heyaime Wedding, but arrived a few days early to explore the town and interact with its people.
We adventured through the city, despite the on going drug war with the Federal Policia and the drug lords, needless to say, we felt safe the entire time there. We entered local markets, shopped for souvenirs and trinkets, entered historic museums, and ate plentiful. The day after the wedding the bride and groom rented a giant bus, air conditioned and bathroom equipped, which brought us out the ancient Aztec ruins of Teotihuacan.
Thanks to Eric and Grace once more for a fabulous time in Mexico.
